The town of Thiers invites you to “pamparinate” in its medieval streets. It’s the Pamparina in Thiers, a free music festival. A few well-known headliners, some forty groups, hip-hop, soul, folk, chanson, rock and even disco: a joyful eclectic recipe for three unforgettable days of street festival.

For 3 days, for its 25th Pamparina, Thiers is an open-air stage to celebrate the arrival of summer. Whether in medieval alleyways, hidden squares or in front of the mediatheque, facing the mountains, you can enjoy this joyful and dynamic festival. The town is at its best for three unique days of music. Pleasure for the eyes, in the medieval town. Pleasure for the ears, with so many concerts. And for gourmets: gourmet stalls and restaurants to tantalize the taste buds. Here, to celebrate is to “pampariner” in Thiernois dialect, and the whole town is decorated for the event.

Place Saint-Genès welcomes new talent from Auvergne Rhône Alpes, as well as springboard winners and guest bands. With festive chanson, soul music, improvised jazz, chanson revisited, feminine rock, French electro pop, masculine rock.

La placeAntonin-Chastel

The Place Antonin-Chastel offers a stage made up of different musical trends, with a different artistic line-up each evening: folk pop, female hip-hop, French chanson, disco punk, electro jazz and chanson franchouillarde.

La RueConchette

Rue Conchette becomes the street of brass bands, with street entertainers and performers playing jazz, African music from the Congo, traditional music, funk and hip-hop.

The square ofVerdun

Verdun Square welcomes on stage, world music ensembles, rare musical performances: in pop, hip-hop, chanson, world music and rock covers, in a village of greenery dedicated́ to relaxation.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Place Mercière will host an associative space featuring electro djs and musical ensembles.

The street parade will be festive, with music from American brass bands, African Congo music, traditional music, funk and jazz, so you can dance the night away.
