Site Du Gout

December 6 to 8, 2024 Village of extraordinary producers in Billom

More than 40 Sites remarquables du goût (outstanding taste sites) are gathering in Billom in a producers’ village to showcase emblematic products and exceptional terroirs. Organized by the Champs d’ail de Billom, the event brings together producers from remarkable taste sites. 40 exhibitors present sweets from the 4 corners of France. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for something to put under the Christmas tree, or something to enjoy straight away!

A market to consolidate them almost all

The ” Sites remarquables du goût ” label is a French trademark created in 1995. It brings together around a hundred sites throughout France. These sites meet four criteria: a product that is emblematic of a region, an exceptional heritage, remarkable landscapes, and a welcome for the general public. The latter are designed to show how heritage, landscapes and people influence the product.

The Producers’ Village has been held in Billom for several years now. It’s a not-to-be-missed event for label holders. Each year, more than 40 Sites remarquables du goût (outstanding taste sites ) gather in the heart of the ” Tuscany of Auvergne “.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a bite to eat at the producers' village

At the Producers’ Village, to taste is to explore a terroir, to sense a landscape through your taste buds. The tasting areas are the ideal place for gourmet breaks. Tartines and plates prepared by the producers are just the ticket for journeys to the four corners of the country. An ideal tour of French gastronomy before the festive season!

To conclude, listing the names of these products is like reading the names of countries on a world map: pink garlic from Billom and its black garlic, noix de Martel, Saint-Nectaire, andouille du Val d’Ajols, oysters from Cancale, candied fruit from Apt… And so many others.

So, are you ready to board?
