La Route des Métiers :Local producers and nature's bounty
Visit Les Sens en Herbe farm or Terres d’Alchimie distillery to explore the world of organic essential oils and hydrolats. Join us for a 1.5-hour guided tour of the medicinal plant fields, the distillery and the animals. Learn the secrets of distillation and product use. As for Florent, from La Source Distillerie in Chalmazel, he invites you to discover his range of artisanal alcohols, flavored mustards and honey, all made from wild mountain plants.
Why not take the opportunity to visit the beekeepers of the Livradois-Forez region? Lilo Nectar, at 900m altitude, offers tours of the honey house and honey tastings. Passionate about history? La Route des métiers offers you the chance to visit castles that will transport you to different eras. Starting this spring, Château de Vollore, Château d’Aulteribe, Château de Martinanches and Château de Montmorin will be offering guided tours of the castle and its exterior, so you can learn a little more about the daily lives of Livradois-Forez nobles.
